
Looking for a workout that is easy on your joints, but still works your heart and major muscle groups? Water Fitness Classes are all that, plus it's a fun and a comfortable way to keep moving in all kinds of weather. These classes may be just the thing if you are a senior, are pregnant or suffer with joint pain from injury or illness. Water buoyancy gives you support that reduces the stress of carrying your weight. In water, you're also less likely to get injured or to be achy or sore later. The pool temperature is kept at a comfortable 84 degrees and we have gradual steps or a chair lift to ease you into the pool.
Cardiovascular fitness is the focus, but the routines - done to music - can help you improve strength, flexibility and balance, too. Our instructors teach you the basics and will help you adapt to your specific needs or limitations. You don't have to know how to swim because your feet typically touch the pool bottom for most of the workout, or we provide flotation devices.
Water Fitness Classes are on a drop-in basis and run year round.The cost is $5.00 at the door.
Punch Cards - $45.00 for 10 punches
Senior Discount - $37.50 for 10 punches (Senior is 60 and over)

Here is a description of our classes:
Water Aerobics
This class a medium to high intensity aerobic class with low joint impact. It is designed to give you an excellent cardio workout with target conditioning for you core, arms, and legs.

Aqua Zumba
This 45 min group fitness class follows the traditional Zumba format with Latin moves done to upbeat shimmy inducing tunes. But it's all done in the shallow end of the pool. No swimming skills needed. The water provides the resistance with every salas, merenge and reggaeton step you take.
