2nd Grade Northwestern Elementary!

Hello,

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year.  My name is Amanda Bahmer and this is my 6th year teaching in E. R.  My 4th year in the 2nd grade.  My husband, Tom, and I have been married for 23 years and I have two sons, Ethan (18) and Evan(15).  After Evan started school full-time, I decided to go to college (Spring Arbor University) to become a teacher.  Since graduation,  I have had 6 wonderful years here at Eaton Rapids Public Schools.  The last four have been in the 2nd grade.  For the past two years I have also pursued my Masters Degree (Olivet College) where my focus of study was in reading strategies, cooperative learning, and classroom management. 

I am looking forward to the 2009-2010 school year and all the new adventures that Room 109 will have.
